The story of the friendship between two exploited servant women of Cairo: Camilla, divorced and unable to have children, and Hind, a widow from the countryside who longs to return to her home village. * The movie “Dreams of Hind and Camelia 1988” ranks No. 36 in the list of the best 100 films in the memory of Egyptian cinema, according to a poll of critics on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the first cinematic show in Alexandria (1896-1996). The choice was from 1927, when the first film was shown. Masry (Laili 1927) until 1996.
* “Dreams of Hind and Camelia” won the Best Film Award from the Egyptian Catholic Center in 1989.

* The film ranked 60th in the list of the 100 best films in Arab cinema, according to a survey of film critics and intellectuals conducted by the Dubai International Film Festival in 2013 in the tenth session of the festival.
