Storyline

The picturesquely located Italian city of Mantua is famous for its numerous attractions, from food, through music, art, to Giulio Romano's frescoes, which are a real feast for the senses. Amidst this scenery, the story of a passionate romance between Marta, a Venetian woman, and Leon, a Frenchman, takes place. Marta is the wife of Dario, a writer who is almost entirely absorbed by work, which causes him to neglect his marital duties. One day, while walking alone, Marta meets Leon, who, to her surprise, shows his affection for her in a direct way, unexpectedly triggering her long-hidden desire for erotic games. A fleeting incident turns into a stormy romance resulting in a series of secret meetings. Unable to resist the desire for erotic adventures, unfaithful Marta resorts to increasingly daring behavior
